2023; What a year we have had! 

Your incredible support combined with hard work, determination, and the demand for business support has blown us away.

We held numerous business workshops this year and because the feedback has been so positive we’ve already put more in our 2024 diary!

There’s also been a few personal ups and downs such as the sad passing of our beloved dog Bruce, and the amazing wedding of our daughter.

There’s been a tweak to the way we approach networking and this has allowed us to meet new people and try out different experiences. Rupert’s been networking whilst cycling around Rutland Water, and Angela took on a huge personal challenge of hiking the Three Peaks in Yorkshire to raise money for charity. What a great way to spend time talking to people whilst keeping fit!

Angela also took a bold step in launching her second business Blue Dragonfly Insights.  You can take the girl out of accounting but not accounting out of the girl! Angela is now also working with businesses to help them get to grips with their financial software, and ensure their bookkeeping is spot on!

The progress we’ve seen with the businesses we work with on a one-to-one basis has been tremendous. Quite a few entered local and regional awards, most of which either came runner-up or were the winners! Beaming with pride is an understatement!

Some businesses started with us by simply joining our vision board session and creating what they wanted to achieve in business and life. Now many have started seeing those dreams turn into reality, not by magic but by having a clear vision and planning towards them.

With encouragement and accountability, some of our business owners have changed processes or structures so they can now enjoy the work-life balance they desperately need whilst increasing local employment and profits. It’s also enabling them to take a step back and fall back in love with their business and this has truly been an inspiration to us, it’s why we do what we do. We can’t wait to see what 2024 brings!

All that is left is to say thank you to those of you who open our emails, respond to our social media, attend our workshops, partner up with us, support us behind the scenes, and last but not least our clients for being open-minded, honest, determined and genuinely fantastic human beings!
