Local Business Coach and Female-Led Import/Export company win coveted prize at an event attended by Lord Alan Sugar.

The Biz X Business Excellence Forum and Awards event recently attended (online) by thousands of businesses and their business coaches, boasted speakers such as Olympic Gold Medalist Anna Hemmings, No.1 Hypnotherapist Paul Mckenna, and Lord Sugar during this packed 2-day event.

ActionCOACH business growth specialist Angela Turton said “ I work with businesses in and around the local area to reach their full potential, through one-to-one coaching and seminars.

I have been working with Sara Hutchinson who is Managing Director of RISA (UK) Ltd a female-led freight company for over a year. I decided to put Sara forward as a nominee for ‘Best Import/Export Industry UK’ because it is unusual to find a female-owned business in a traditionally masculine industry, and I felt that Sara’s hard work of 20 years offering a ‘high-end’ level of service in the freight industry needed some well-deserved recognition.”

Angela was delighted to hear that Sara had reached the finalist shortlist and later Stephen Mulhern announced RISA (UK) Ltd as the winner stating “Most industries have been affected of late, not many more so than the freight industry, but despite that Risa has continued to go from strength to strength with their high-class offering. In such a male-dominated industry, it is great to see a female-owned, and led, truly independent UK business thrive in such tough trading conditions.”

During Sara’s acceptance speech she openly thanked her business coach Angela Turton for her help and support.
